JEFFREY P. WASSERMAN, ESQ. is an Accredited Collaborative Professional under Florida Academy of Collaborative Professionals (“FACP”) Standards. Jeff is currently Of Counsel at Shapiro, Blasi, Wasserman & Hermann. He has started his 50th year of practice before the Florida Bar. Jeff is transitioning his practice to represent clients using the Collaborative Law Process to resolve their issues.
Jeff is currently serving on the Board of Directors and was co-chair of the fundraising committee of FACP from 2019 through 2021. He actively participated in the establishment of the Ethics and Standards of Practice for the FACP and has lectured on the subject at various trainings and at the 2020 and 2021 FACP Conferences. He has also presented on Ethics for the IACP. In addition, he serves on the Board of the local South Palm Beach County Collaborative Group (SPBCCG); and is also a member of CFLI (Miami-Dade) and CFLPSF (Broward), and he is a member of IACP. He has been and continues to be a trainer and lecturer on Collaborative Law.
Jeff is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar and past Chair of the Family Law Rules Committee of the Florida Bar and currently serves on the Supreme Court Family Law Forms Workshop, of which he was the original Chair. He is also a Fellow in the IAFL (International Academy of Family Law).
Jeff is rated AV Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has consistently been listed in Florida Super Lawyers magazine and the South Florida Legal Guide as a “Top Lawyer” in family law.
